Meet the Team
Our Leadership
Brotherhood is guided by leaders who are committed to pursuing Jesus and walking alongside other men with humility and integrity. Leadership within Brotherhood is grounded in example, not authority for its own sake. Leaders are called to model faithfulness, consistency, and humility in everyday life.

Meet Johnie Hampton
Johnie Hampton was challenged one Sunday by his Pastor, Whit George, at Church on the Move, in Tulsa, Oklahoma with one question that changed everything: “Whose responsibility is the empty seat?” Johnie raised his hand with the heart of building trust with the men in his circle through a breakfast.
In February of 2015, he and Marc Marroquin gathered 18 men around a table at Jimmy’s Egg in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And little did they know that God was up to something big.
For Johnie, that moment was never just about attendance. It was about ownership. He believed that when men take responsibility for inviting and investing in one another, something deeper is revealed. What started as a simple breakfast became a doorway to trust, community and living on purpose.
Johnie has always seen Brotherhood Breakfast as a catalyst, not just an event or organization. To him, it’s a starting point for real change, built on the belief that when men are changed from the inside out, their impact reaches families, churches, and entire communities, helping them become the men God created them to be.
Eleven years and more than 134 breakfasts later, that same conviction remains at the heart of it all. Except now the table is set for hundreds monthly. And is spreading to other communities. Men are discovering community, finding purpose, and seeing the church as relevant. And seats are being filled.
In addition to his role with Brotherhood Breakfast, Johnie is CEO and Founder of Hampton Creative, a nationally recognized branding, placemaking and web agency he established in 2002. With more than two decades of experience leading creative initiatives for organizations, churches, and nonprofits, he leads with a passion for work that makes a real difference. The agency operates on a simple belief, “We Design for Connection,” creating meaningful work that helps organizations earn trust and build lasting relationships with the people they serve. His leadership reflects the same values that shaped Brotherhood Breakfast: investing in people, strengthening communities, and helping organizations communicate with authenticity and impact.
Johnie and his wife, Krystal, have two sons, Zane and Grayson. Together, they’ve built their lives around faith, family, and service. He remains deeply committed to his home church, mentoring leaders, strengthening the local church, and helping men step into the roles they were created to carry.
